What airport should we fly into?
San Jose Airport (SJO) is the closest airport to Jacó.
How will we get from the airport to our accommodations?
We will be using Top Service shuttles to and from the airport. The cost is $20 per person per way in a shuttle of 10 people.
Once RSVPs are collected we will send out a Google Doc where we can coordinate groups based on arrival and departure times.
How do I exchange USD for the local currency Colones?
Exchange counters are located at the SJO airport near baggage claim. Another option is to withdrawal colones from your account at a Costa Rican ATM. Many vendors accept USD and take debit or credit cards.
Do I need a passport to travel to Costa Rica?
Yes, you will need a passport to travel to Costa Rica. If you currently have a passport check to make sure it is valid and not expired.
